First of all, I have a confession to make.
On Monday nights in our home, we have Family Home Evening. Basically, it's a night of the week that we don't have anything else planned so we can spend some quality time together. The night is usually finished off with a treat of some kind and last night it was donuts. As much as I tried to ignore the temptations of a chocolate-covered raspberry-filled donut, I just couldn't do it.
Fortunately, I knew I would cave, so I kept my daytime calories at a minimum to avoid calories overload, but I do feel a little guilty about it.
Anyway, I awoke this morning with the painful reminder that I started the 30 Day Shred yesterday. I can really feel it in my arms and legs. Needless to say, push-ups and squats were a little difficult this morning, but I worked through the pain and finished the 20-minute workout.
I know that it will get easier as the weeks go on, but wow, do I need some ibuprofen.

I am sending empowering thoughts to work it...workit...oh ya baby
