Depending on the day, my scale is either a friend or a liar. When I step on it and it goes down from the previous day, all is well with the scale. However, when I step on it and my weight has gone up since the last time I stood on it, my scale is lying, or possibly even broken.
Forget the fact that I ate half a dozen donut holes the day before. Nope, the scale is broken.
This morning, the scale was telling me exactly what I wanted to hear. (Well, it could've knocked off fifty more pounds, but I opted for the non-magical scale.)
This morning's weight was 231.0 pounds. For those of you playing the home game, that is a total of 11.6 pounds lost this year and 39 pounds total.
Also, when I lose two more pounds, I will weigh less than I have in nearly 16 years. I can't tell you how exciting that is to me.
Onward and upward.
Well, downward.

That is awesome! You are such a great example to me in so many ways. Keep up the great work!
